This is a brilliant book, especially for student nurses. I had to do an intergrated critique of a qualitative and quantitative research article, and of all the books that were recommended to me, this was my bibile. it had all the answers to my questions and was generally brilliant! would highly recommend it to anyone!

5 out of 5 stars Colin Rees Scores Again   March 8, 2005

I am not a midwife but a Student Nurse (adult branch) and this new edition has been fantastic. It has helped me to understand the research process and has greatly assisted my critique assignment. The chapters are well laid out and the language Colin uses is user friendly. The glossary of terms is excellent. This book will also help me for my final year's dissitation and beyond. I highly recommend this new edition, well worth the money, a very good buy.
