Does Its Job September 2, 2008 jus got this wii station today and it doesnt seem 2 bad at all. all of your wii things fit in it well especially the console, although u will probably have to take the skins off your wii remotes and the numchucks will fit with the leads in aswell u jus have to sort of coil them up. from reading other reviews before i got it, i was a little in-decisive as of the fan being loud and you cant turn the fan off without turning everything off. but everything off only means the blue lights on the side and the fan. you can still use the wii without the fan and lights being on. charging the controllers can be done without the wii actually being on you jus need to have the power on (e.g the plug socket). also linking back 2 another review the fan in my stand doesnt need any batteries either to work it uses the main supply of power to the stand. So all in all it is a good accessory for the wii and worth the money for what you get.
Don't buy this unit September 1, 2008 Just received this unit and have just returned it for a refund. The 3 position selector switch at the back for engaging/disengaging fan etc. doesn't do anything. It is a non functional item. Only one of the charging bays actually works and this only produces a minimal recharge. Supplier helpline number goes directly to a mailbox and so is a complete waste of time.In my opinion, a heap of rubbish!
Not a perfect one. July 26, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
It's not possible to recharge Wii Remotes without removing Skinz. I have found this annoying. Otherwise it keeps everything together and recharges wii remotes quickly
THIS STAND AINT ALL THAT!! June 10, 2008 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
just got this stand. looks gr8. saves money. and storage. but causes a loud noise in the wii transformer witch causes heat!! if you want to get it? get it but if you dont wand a loud noise from the wii transformer then dont get it. i give it a 1 out of 10!
The perfect charging station for wii May 15, 2008 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
There are so many charging stations on the market your most likely going to be at a loss for what to buy. I bought this for the great reviews and the features it had. I wasn't dissapointed.
It is perfect for keeping your nunchuks and wiimotes stored and charging them at the same time so both of them can always be full of charge and raring to go any time. two LED light signal when a remote is charging and when theyre fully charged although ive found this to be inaccurate sometimes. The cooling fan is quiet and works but i dont use it very often. The design is great and the white is very close to that of the actual wii but the LED lights cant be switched off without turning off the power at the wall making your room look like a 70s disco. Finally its a great solution for supplying the power as the wii slots into a power socket at the back of the station and the wiis main power plug goes into the back of the station where it connects to the wii.
All in all a perfect station for keeping your wii tidy, charging your remotes and keeping your wii cool. Perfect in every way.
