Great little audio player October 4, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Has been completely problem free to use. Downloads music and playlists effortlessly. Recognised instantly by Windows (Vista). The player itself is nice and small, sound quality is great, its intuitive to use. Battery life seems good to me (though I don't exactly keep a stopwatch on it!). All told I am very happy with my purchase. The only flaws are the annoyance of having to charge up the device via your PC's usb port (its doesn't come with a mains charger included) and the charging seems to take forever. Also, the belt clip doesn't seem the most sturdy...its easy to accidentally unclip from the main body of the device.
Unbelievable value for the money September 25, 2008 I lost my iPod on holiday and nervously replaced it with this Sansa. My experience with my iPod was not the best - or at least not so much the player itself but the software that cased me all manner of grief.
Based on this experience, I certainly wasn't going to invest any higher up the range so started to look around at alternative products.
Basically if you are reading this I assume you are after an MP3 player for 30 quid or so and have looked at iPods, Creatives etc and are obviously harbouring the same doubts I did. All I can say is go for it, radio, LED screen, twice the storage and equal sound quality to the iPod for half the price. I pretty much tossed a coin between this and the Creative and this one won - but I daresay I would be typing the same for the Creative if I had chosen it.
The biggest hurdle you face is badge snobbery - once you have cleared it you will be fine, honest ;)
Sansa clip 2MB - disaster September 6, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This apparently attractive MP3 player was not recognized by any of the computers in our house. It completely crashed the other USB devices on our main machine and even messed up the graphics card. Amazon will refund but not replace for this item. No problem, because I won't be looking to buy another Sansa. Shame, because it looks the part. We'll never know if it was really any good.

Arrived today. Very small. Very neat. Very slick. Pretty display. Menu seems logical enough.
I can't compare with any Apple kit as I'm not gullible enough to pay Apple prices but sound quality is crystal clear (with Sennheisers) and its the best I've heard on an MP3 player. Radio seems not too bad either.
Only moan so far is that has to be the world's most miserable USB cable - could they make one any shorter? what did that save? 50p? - so minus one star.
Excellent little MP3 player August 28, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is a lovely bit of kit! It's light, doesn't appear to be eating battery power so far, produces a good sound and is largely intuitive. It puts songs in artist or album order, and will play all songs, or all songs by an artist, or a random selection - you choose. One ear of the earphones has stopped working, but I can live with that as the player is worth a better pair of headphones. I am currently enjoying listening to all my R.E.M. albums and don't think I could have chosen a better player - for 35 or otherwise - to enjoy them on. Give it a go!
