5 out of 5 stars Cheaper doesn't mean lower quality.   October 2, 2008
A few years ago I bought a 1GB Mini-SD card for nearly 70, it's not surprising that technology has moved on to produce higher capacity cards - that was inevitable. The surprising aspect is the amazing price drop over the last few years. For less than a fiver you can now have a few GB of physical storage in a format not much bigger than a sweetcorn nibblet!

I've had a few Kingston cards and the Japanese based-company produces high quality cards which often retail for less than the bigger brands such as SanDisk. The Micro-SD card slots into the supplied SD Adaptor. It's a nice snug fit, and the slight lip on the outside of the Micro-SD card assists you in removing it once it's inserted. The actual capacity seems to be 1.8GB, but I've never had a memory card yet which perfectly hits the stated capacity - this is comparable to what you'd expect to see with any other card.

Top notch quality, exactly what I expected from Kingston.

5 out of 5 stars Great for the Wii   September 4, 2008

A great product, as usual with Kingston, stuck it straight in the Wii with no problems. 2Gb provides over 15000 save slots!
Bargain.

4 out of 5 stars Nice little card, the adaptor isn't too bad either.   August 28, 2008
I ordered this product over the weekend and took about 3 days to get here so that's top notch delivery for me. The card itself is a tiny little thing but it works in my Samsung phone which is what I bought it for so there's a thumbs up. The only downside (for me at least) is the adaptor. I put the card in and it took me about 5 minutes to get it back out again! But at least I got it so I'm still a happy man. Great product all round.

5 out of 5 stars We can see for ourselves   May 25, 2008

People rely on reviews in order to give them a good idea of the quality of the PRODUCT.

Countless low scores over a POSTAGE issue skews the data and prevents people from obtaining an accurate rating for the item. Everyone is perfectly capable of assesing wether an items postage is excessive and they can make their own decision based on that as to wether to purchase or not.

If you dont want to buy from amazon, that's your choice, but stop giving low ratings because you cant read order summeries correctly.

5 out of 5 stars Read the instructions and all is good!   May 1, 2008

As stated in the manufacturers review above "Although identical in size to today's standard miniSD card, the new miniSDHC cards are designed differently and are only recognized by miniSDHC host devices" and "Features: Compatible with miniSDHC host devices; not compatible with standard miniSD-enabled devices/readers"

Check before you buy. If your device supports SDHC, then this product is perfect. If you don't check before you buy, then you can make yourself look silly.
