DONT BUY IT August 8, 2008 The sound is dull. I useto use Senheiser px200. Its nothing compare to that one. wasted my money. terrible quality.
If the shoe fits!!!!! August 6, 2008 If you don't fit them correctly they will sound like a tin of quality street with a 2 penny coin in it. But they fit me perfectly and are awesome.
I bought the EP-630's over a year ago and am still using them now. I have sliced the outer layer of the plastic on the jack to help them fit my iphone. I was looking for an upgrade a few months ago and so got a set of sennies, the cx-400's they were marginally better than the 630's but 5x the price and they are the biggest pain in the neck as the cord is too short so you have to use the extension which is too long! anyway they ended up breaking after 2 weeks so they went back to the supplier and I went back to the 630's. I am a very fussy audiophile as are my DJ friends but they have all bought these. I seriously recommend these for anyone who loves quality sound but also loves a bargain. Buy from Amazon to avoid copies that I'm hearing about.
Not as good as I thought August 4, 2008 I purchased theses with the knowing that I was going to get a very rich bass, boy was i wrong, they are ok for the money, BUT they give very low bass and you have to push them firmly inside your ear to get the best from them.
I purchased some Sennheiser MX 350s at the same time from another retailer and these are far better sound quality.
Great for using with your PSP or DS but no good for music or ipods.
Good value for money August 3, 2008 Good product for a good price. I'm sure you could dissect the sound quality, as with any headphone, but I have no complaints. They hold up on my Victoria Line Tube journey much better than my last cheap Sony pair. They are also miles better than the rubbishy "white" headphones received with my ipod.
Best mp3 earphones bar none July 31, 2008 These are the best earphones I have ever owned, and I have owned lots of them.
The bass from these is unbelievable and way beyond anything I was expecting even after reading the reviews for them. Hooked up to a decent mp3 player, such as Creative's own Creative Muvo T100 4GB MP3 Player, you get more than enough bass for anyones taste.
I put the ep630's in as an ideal replacement for the standard ones when I reviewed the above mp3 player and I do not have to go back on my recommedation, do not waste your money on a more expensive pair unless you've got money to burn. Simply put get these, you will not be dissapointed.
The only thing I would say is read the excellent fitting hints given by other reviewers, they will make sure you get the maximum from these little wonders.
