5 out of 5 stars Great   April 1, 2008
I would defiantly recommend this book to someone studying the OCR GCSE course. Its very good. Very easy to understand and packed with loads on information.

Great book!

5 out of 5 stars A very informative and well laid out book   February 8, 2002

This book was very informative and well laid out. it was easy to understand without being patronising. Pictures, photos and quotes broke up text so it wasn't at all boring. It stuck to the point well, i think and although it is designed to accompany the GCSE course it would also be of interest to the casual reader. It is very helpful for essays as all the topics are laid out clearly. i would recommend it to anyone studying history for GCSE and also to people just wanting to broaden their own personal knowledge
